CHARLES PAPINEAU


EXECUTIVE CHEF

Charles Papineau started working in the food industry at the age of 17 and at 23, he put on his chef’s apron for the first time. Passionate about gourmet cuisine, local products and a born epicure, he has cooked in famous Québec kitchens.

Now, he uses his vast culinary knowledge and passion for flavours to create the SHAKER Kitchen & Mixology menu and prepare modern and delicious dishes.

JEAN-RENÉ LEBEL


HEAD MIXOLOGIST

At 18 years old, while he was studying, Jean-René Lebel landed a bartending job. He had no idea at the time, but this was the beginning of a lasting relationship between him and his shaker. Jean-René developed a deep interest in the art of cocktails and mixology.

Now, with 12 years of bartending experience, he aims to make every sip a unique voyage: A new flavour, a new mix, a new destination. His passion and creativity are responsible for several cocktails offered at SHAKER Kitchen & Mixology.

Charles Papineau starts in a kitchen at age 17, and then becomes a young chef for the first time at 23. A consummate gourmet, lover of local products and epicurean, he will move on to work in the kitchens of some of Québec’s better known restaurants.

He now puts his vast knowledge and fine tastes to use by bringing the best in delicious cuisine to SHAKER Cuisine & Mixology Bar & Grill’s menu.

At 18, Jean-René Lebel finds a student job as a barman. He is far from knowing that a love affair would begin with his shaker as he develops a keen interest for the art of the cocktail and mixology.

With his now 12 years behind the bar, his everyday pursuit is to make us travel with every sip through each new flavor, new mix and new destination. His passion and creativity are behind many of the cocktails offered at SHAKER Cuisine & Mixology Bar & Grill.
